Andrew Hawkins is a Senior Vice President at Foundry Commercial with 13 years of experience in commercial real estate including landlord and tenant advisory services. Prior to Foundry Commercial, formerly CNL Commercial Real Estate, he served as Partner at Transwestern in New York after beginning his real estate career at Grubb & Ellis in 2001.
Andrew spent two years with Jones Lang LaSalle in their Corporate Occupiers Group where he represented Standard Chartered Bank for over 150,000 square feet, as well as acting as an ongoing consultant for the United Nations Development Programme and the Swedish Consulate in New York for their Midtown East owned properties.
During his career, Andrew has been involved with leasing and investment sales transactions well in excess of $1 billion, comprised primarily within the office, retail and industrial sectors. He provides skillful real estate strategies to occupiers of space through meaningful, best-dedicated practices meant to ensure successful outcomes for his clients.
His clients range from start-ups to large public companies. A few noteworthy transactions include:
- Sprint Corporation – 150,000 SF office disposition assignment to Google with their entry office in the New York market
- FIKA – 25 new store locations for the largest coffee chain in the metro New York City area
- Haks Engineering – Multiple office locations in the greater metro New York City area
- Coach, Inc. – 90,000 SF office expansion on Manhattan’s West Side
- Lazar Levine & Felix, LLP – 25,000 SF full-floor renewal and expansion at the Empire State Building
- IBM – 100,000+ SF of combined disposition assignments at 11 Madison Avenue and One Penn Plaza in New York City
- Hertz – Real estate advisor for multi-market locations
