Experience

Beau Olson serves as a Senior Vice President of Investment Management for Foundry Commercial, managing relationships with U.S. institutional and private capital investors, primarily in the Southeast, and collaborates with them to allocate capital across Foundry’s various investment strategies.

With over a decade of experience spanning investment management, real estate, and the data center industries, Beau has established a reputation for forward-thinking, integrity, and investment acumen.

Before joining Foundry, Olson was a Director at Della Parola, a hedge fund, fund-of-funds, and family office platform based in Winter Park, FL where he focused on fundraising, fund management and investor relations. Prior to Della Parola, he led a business development team at Cologix, a private equity-owned data center company, where he secured several strategic partnerships that contributed to the company’s revenue growth and success. Earlier in his career, Olson worked at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, where his role focused on compliance and risk mitigation. Prior to that, he was a financial representative at Northwestern Mutual, specializing in wealth management for private clients and families. Olson’s career began in real estate, where he facilitated the construction and management of commercial and multifamily properties throughout the Pacific Northwest for a Washington based developer.

Community Involvement

Beau is the co-founder of The Youth in General, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting special needs, disease-impacted, and at-risk youth. He is also active in other organizations, including The Company of Dads and the American Cancer Society. A former collegiate lacrosse player and high school lacrosse coach, he continues to foster his love for sports.

In his free time, Beau values spending time with his wife & kids and enjoys cooking, skiing, biking, and playing golf.
