Overview
Doug Ryan joined the Foundry team in September 2025, bringing over 25 years of extensive commercial real estate experience.
As a Senior Vice President in office brokerage, Doug specializes in landlord and tenant representation, serving as a trusted advisor to his clients.
He excels at navigating the complexities of real estate transactions and providing clarity in corporate leasing decisions. Doug is one of the most highly regarded brokers in Nashville’s commercial real estate industry. His exceptional work has earned him recognition, including NAIOP’s Nashville Broker of the Year Award.
Most recently, Doug served as Principal and Executive Vice President at Colliers for almost a decade. Previously, he also served as First Vice President at CBRE, specializing in landlord and tenant representation for office properties. Prior to that, he owned a real estate consulting practice where he advised corporate clients on development, planning, entitlements, and zoning processes for their projects. His services also included office leasing, retail leasing, and land sales.
Earlier in his career, Doug was part of Cushman & Wakefield’s Office Services Group in Detroit, Michigan.
Doug holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
