Karen Horstmann has invested in more than $25 billion of unlisted institutional real estate over the past 20 years. Karen has prior experience in closed-end value-add and opportunistic funds as well as core and core-plus vehicles. She has operational experience in office, retail and multi-family assets across the U.S. and continental Europe. Karen previously held senior leadership roles as Head of Acquisitions at Allianz Real Estate and Portfolio Manager at Norges Bank Investment Management helping to build Norges’ North American platform. Earlier in her career she held positions at Meyer Bergman, Dubai Investment Group and Goldman Sachs. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a MBA from Harvard Business School.
