Overview
Luc brings decades of retail real estate experience spanning Montreal, Seattle, Washington DC, South Florida, and Orlando. He began his U.S. career with General Growth Properties, later Brookfield, where he was promoted into senior leadership roles overseeing major Class-A retail and mixed-use portfolios across multiple regions. During the financial crisis, Luc was transferred to Washington DC to lead operations on a set of high-profile Rouse Company assets, office properties, and open-air centers — guiding the portfolio through bankruptcy, monetization, and ultimately a successful spin-off.
In 2021, he was recruited to serve as President/COO of Demetree Global, leading day-to-day operations, development activity, and strategy across a diverse portfolio of retail, office, housing, and land holdings throughout Central Florida. Known for his hands-on, deal-focused approach, he played a key role in leasing several retail and mixed-use projects, while also expanding into tenant representation for emerging and national brands.
Across his career, Luc has built deep relationships with retailers, restaurateurs, investors, and owners nationwide — and his renewed passion for brokerage, combined with years of trusted collaboration with Foundry team members, ultimately drew him to join Foundry to help grow and lead the retail platform in Central Florida.
