Bringing more than 20 years experience to the team, PJ Behr serves as Sr Vice President at Foundry Commercial and leads the company’s Investment Sales platform in Orlando. PJ has worked with both private and institutional sellers/buyers and focuses on acquisitions and dispositions for a variety of investment property types, including retail, office, and industrial.
PJ started his real estate career in 2000, where he worked with CNL Restaurant Properties, a non-traded real estate investment trust (REIT), the largest REIT in the country focused on the restaurant industry, selling company owned properties to investors, and by 2005 led its Investment Property Sales platform. PJ stayed with this REIT for a decade, even as it went public on the New York Stock Exchange as Trustreet Properties in 2005 and was later purchased by GE Capital Franchise Finance in 2007. In his role, PJ worked closely with the acquisitions team underwriting transactions as well as lease negotiations to drive value for the disposition's platform. Prior to leaving GE Capital in 2010, PJ’s team was averaging over $250 million in transactions per year. Prior to rejoining Foundry in 2011, PJ founded Trinity Real Estate Group.
Over the span of his career, PJ has been involved in over 1,250 sales transactions across 47 states with volume in excess of $1.8 billion. PJ‘s extensive depth of knowledge and outstanding track record in the 1031 investment industry is a tremendous asset to our sales team.
