Tim Blair serves as the Director of Project Management for Foundry Commercial focusing on the South Florida market and as a resource to the entire platform. Tim has over thirty years of Architectural experience in the design and construction of major projects including corporate, commercial, private and institutional facilities.

Prior to joining Foundry Commercial, Tim had a 25-year plus tenure with Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum, Inc. (HOK). Tim served as Vice President working in Tampa for 8 years and then relocated to Miami to open the firm's local practice. While at HOK, Tim completed several significant and award winning projects including Office Depot Global Headquarters, Bacardi USA Headquarters, Patricia Louise Frost Music Studios, Miami-Dade Children’s Courthouse and FIU-MANGO. 

Tim’s desire to be part of a growing Team fit well with our expanding South Florida presence, His experience will prove to be a differentiator in Foundry Commercial’s service offerings. His background in master planning, conceptual studies, programming, workplace strategies / trends, design optimization and sustainable strategies that provide a return on investment will reinforce the value offered to our clients.

  • United Data Technologies (UDT) Headquarters – 63K GSF Corporate Headquarters with Parking Garage for 220 cars
  • Turnpike Logistics Park – Phase 1 – 33K GSF Industrial project within 40 acre Master Plan
  • Sawgrass Lake Center – Multiple Tenant Improvement projects
  • Biltmore Hotel & Golf Course – Historic restoration of two “Gondola” bridges
  • Wolfsonian-FIU Annex & Surface Lot – Assistance in preparing ITN and negotiating lease for redevelopment of properties 
  • Office Depot Global Headquarters – Tenant Improvement for 630K RSF within 3-interconnected, 5-level buildings
  • Bacardi USA Headquarters – Tenant Improvement for 230K RSF that achieved LEED-CI Gold certification
  • Patricia Louise Frost Music Studios – Two buildings totaling 45K GSF that achieved LEED-NC Platinum certification
  • Miami-Dade Children’s Courthouse – 318K GSF within 3.38 acre urban site that achieved LEED-NC Gold certification
  • FIU – MANGO – 106K GSF, 6-story Mixed Use facility that achieved LEED-NC Gold certification
  • Chico’s FAS – NSSC – Tenant Improvement for 128K RSF that achieved FGBC-Silver certification
  • FIU – College of Nursing & Health Sciences – 114K GSF that achieved LEED-NC Silver certification
  • FIU – Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum - $16M with (10) Galleries including natural daylight and light-diffusing “petals”
  • Wilkie D. Ferguson, Jr. US Courthouse – 578K GSF collaboration as the Project Manager for ARQ/HOK
  • Sam M. Gibbons US Courthouse – 438K GSF facility with construction cost of $64M in downtown Tampa
  • The Florida Aquarium - $65M facility specializing in the natural aquatic environments of Tampa Bay
