Justin Barker serves as Vice President for the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC markets. Focused on increasing Foundry Commercial’s presence in the greater Washington, DC region and servicing current client needs for tenant advisor, investment sales, acquisitions and site selection. As a fourth generation Washingtonian, Justin has a strong understanding of the market and its complexities.
Prior to working in commercial real estate brokerage Justin worked in sales, marketing and business development for a non-profit as well as a boutique conference production company. While at the National Apartment Association, Justin began working with supplier members, consulting on industry involvement and marketing opportunities for conference sponsorship, advertising and supplier council involvement. While working in the National Lease Program, Justin was able to increase annual revenue, year over year by more than 15 percent through the development and execution of a strategic market and product development plan. Grace joined Foundry Commercial’s Atlanta Office leasing team in June 2023. She and her team are responsible for office landlord representation in the greater Atlanta area. Prior to Foundry, Grace spent over 10 years as an in-house leasing agent leasing Atlanta Property Group’s office portfolio.
While at APG, Grace and her team executed over 900 transactions resulting in over $441 million in new rental income. As an in-house leasing agent, Grace learned a great deal about an owners’ approach to acquiring, operating and disposing of office buildings. This experience gives her invaluable insight into the unique challenges and objectives office owners face.

Bessie is a tenant rep specializing in office and work spaces, bringing invaluable energy and enthusiasm to her clients’ search and transaction processes. Her career began in the summer of 2020 as an intern for Southsource, and at the same time she participated in Cushman & Wakefield and CBRE’s weekly virtual exposure program. Upon her graduation the following year, she joined Southsource full-time as an associate tenant rep and remained in that role until Southsource merged with Foundry in mid-2023.
Clients benefit from Bessie’s innate ability to build and maintain relationships and her excellent attention to style and design. Uniquely, her past experience is largely influenced by her role helping the tenant rep team implement new digital tools to improve client experiences. Bessie grew up in Gainesville, Georgia and now lives in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland neighborhood. She enjoys being on Lake Burton with her family, cycling, and watching the Dawgs play between the hedges.

Phil leads Atlanta’s tenant rep team, a similar role to the position he held with Southsouce from 2021 until the boutique brokerage merged with Foundry Commercial in 2023. Phil worked at JLL in Atlanta before joining Southsource. While there, he acquired experience in tenant representation, portfolio management, real estate investments, and lease dispositions.
Phil is particularly experienced in advising professional services companies, likely because he is perceptive and inquisitive, catching all manner of details and minutia around the goals of his clients. He has a deep appreciation for the experiential qualities of neighborhoods and buildings, and how those add value for clients. It’s been said that Phil can find the bright side of a cave, and it’s impossible to talk about his work without mentioning his relentless positivity.

John Neal is an essential part of the Atlanta landlord rep practice, having led the practice area at Southsource before the boutique brokerage merged with Foundry Commercial in 2023. His 16 years in the commercial real estate business took him to both large institutions and small companies. At JP Morgan and MetLife Real Estate, he served in a number of capacities including acquisitions, asset management, and portfolio management. At Hollandsworth Construction, he led business strategy and financial operations.

Since joining Foundry in 2019, Vince has been a top producer and key leader for our Nashville-based Corporate Solutions team and has introduced market-leading best practices that help clients develop strategies, seize opportunities, and achieve optimal performance and value from their real estate portfolios.
Prior to Foundry, as a Senior Managing Director with CBRE, Vince led and expanded many of the company’s most successful long-term client accounts, including NISSAN North America and HCA Healthcare. Vince started his commercial real estate career in 1992 with Trammell Crow Company as Vice President & Controller for the Southeast Region and, in 1997, as Principal, he led TCC’s property management business in the Mid-South. Jason Holwerda joined the Foundry Commercial team as the Nashville Market Leader in 2014 after spending the first 10 years of his career with Crescent Communities, LLC in leasing and development. Andrew Hawkins is a Senior Vice President at Foundry Commercial with 13 years of experience in commercial real estate including landlord and tenant advisory services. Prior to Foundry Commercial, formerly CNL Commercial Real Estate, he served as Partner at Transwestern in New York after beginning his real estate career at Grubb & Ellis in 2001.
Andrew spent two years with Jones Lang LaSalle in their Corporate Occupiers Group where he represented Standard Chartered Bank for over 150,000 square feet, as well as acting as an ongoing consultant for the United Nations Development Programme and the Swedish Consulate in New York for their Midtown East owned properties.
