Nashville, Tenn. – Foundry Commercial’s Nashville office recently welcomed two powerhouse retail commercial real estate brokers, Carrie Bobb and Molly Marcum.
Carrie, an experienced retail leasing executive with a proven track record of success, joined Foundry Commercial as Senior Vice President of Retail Services after relocating to the area last year. Since launching her real estate career in California in 2003, Bobb has completed transactions totaling more than $2 billion. During her career, she has successfully designed and executed leasing strategies, representing landlords such as Hines, Kilroy Realty, Asana Partners, IQHQ, Heitman, Regency Centers, and many others. She has executed transactions with marquee brands like West Elm, Sephora, SoulCycle, lululemon, Blue Bottle Coffee, Cinepolis, Restoration Hardware, Shake Shack, drybar, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and several others. She is considered an expert in placemaking and understands how to create unique, memorable experiences that lead to consumer purchases. She has extensive knowledge in landlord merchandising, lease execution, digital leasing strategies, and uses her expertise to help landlords craft both a digital and physical approach to leasing space. In fact, noticing a gap in the market, she took the opportunity in recent years to launch hellojenny, a commercial real estate-focused digital marketing company that helps landlords drive revenue for their existing tenants both digitally and to brick and mortar.
Molly Marcum, Senior Associate Broker, recently joined Carrie on the Foundry Nashville retail team. Marcum, who hails from Chattanooga, worked for a large landlord developer in Tennessee as a retail leasing assistant, generating a reputation as one of the best merchandising planners for mixed-use developments in the region. She was most recently a brokerage associate with Katz & Associates, where she served in a tenant representation capacity. However, she always had a goal to come back to what she’s truly passionate about – serving landlords of mixed-use developments.
“I am wildly excited about partnering with Molly. Her local knowledge and in-house mixed-use development background, along with my national experience, brings a unique combination of talent to the market,” stated Bobb. “We are poised to help landlords curate meaningful merchandising strategies and execute on creating memorable experiences that evoke emotion through retail leasing.”
“The opportunity to partner with Carrie, one of the most respected brokers in the country, has been a dream come true. In working together with the rest of our incredible team in Nashville, we strive to help landlords create a sense of place and make the most of their real estate investments,” Marcum added.
“Foundry has been steadily increasing our footprint in the Nashville region since we opened our office here in 2014, but the retail segment was one area that we had not yet expanded into,” added Jason Holwerda, Market Leader for Foundry in Nashville. “With the addition of Carrie and Molly to the team, Foundry is immediately poised to capture market share, and we’re already feeling the excitement of Nashville landlords looking for the opportunity to tap into their expertise and unique approach.”
