Charlotte, N.C. (Oct. 28, 2025) – Foundry Commercial’s Carolinas Land Advisory team recently represented the seller, Silver Companies, in the sale of a 17-acre parcel within The Park–Huntersville, one of the Southeast’s premier mixed-use communities. Castlebridge Residential Development plans to develop 120 for-sale townhomes on the site.
Located just minutes from Charlotte and spanning more than 2.5 million square feet of office, flex, and medical space, The Park–Huntersville offers a six-acre central lake, extensive amenities, and unmatched connectivity via I-77, I-85, and I-485. The community continues to grow as a destination that blends office, retail, healthcare, residential, and recreational uses, surrounded by conveniences such as restaurants, shopping, and nearby Lake Norman.
Foundry Commercial has maintained a strong relationship with the Silver Companies since originally facilitating the sale of the site to them in 2019. Castlebridge Residential Development ultimately emerged as the buyer, bringing a creative deal structure that set them apart from many traditional builders who had also expressed interest. This mirrors a similar transaction that Foundry’s Land Advisory team completed in north Charlotte earlier this year, where the ability to think beyond a conventional builder approach helped secure the right outcome for all parties.
Sarah Godwin, Partner in Foundry’s Raleigh office, has been actively involved with The Park–Huntersville since 2016, completing more than 15 transactions on behalf of the original Park developer. “This transaction is the culmination of nearly a decade of work at The Park–Huntersville,” said Godwin. “We’re proud to see this community continue to evolve in a way that benefits both residents and the surrounding region.”
“This deal highlights the strength of cross-market collaboration at Foundry and underscores the appeal of Huntersville as one of the Charlotte region’s most attractive residential markets,” said Tommy Trimble, Partner at Foundry Commercial and leader of the firm’s Land Advisory Group in Charlotte.
In addition to Trimble and Godwin, Foundry’s Karl Hudson, IV, and Richard Coen Jr. also worked on the transaction, bringing together expertise across multiple offices to ensure a successful outcome.
We’re excited to close on this site in Huntersville and move forward with plans for a thoughtfully designed 120-lot townhouse community,” said Timothy Kemper, CEO of Castlebridge Residential Development. “This project reflects Castlebridge’s continued commitment to delivering high-quality housing in desirable locations that meet the needs of today’s homebuyers. We appreciate the collaboration with Foundry Commercial that helped both seller and buyer successfully complete this transaction in an ever-changing real estate market.”
“We are thankful for the Foundry Commercial team, whose innovative thinking found us an excellent buyer for our residential site at The Park, a prime mixed-use destination in Huntersville, NC,” said Spencer Silver, President at Silver Companies, a national diversified real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Boca Raton, FL. “As the owner and operator of nearly 600 Class-A multifamily units at The Park, part of our Silver Collection portfolio, we are committed to this community and recognize its long-term growth potential. That’s why we chose a quality neighbor, one that complements our communities.”
Huntersville has consistently ranked among the best places to raise a family in the Charlotte region, fueling ongoing demand for housing in and around The Park. Other acclaimed residential projects within the community include Silver Collection at the Park and Waterford at the Park, both multifamily communities that complement the future townhome development.
