Raleigh, N.C. (October 15, 2024) – J. Cheshire Webb III, Vice President in Foundry Commercial’s Raleigh office, in partnership with Paul Anderson of Corporate Real Estate Advisors, represented Weatherby Healthcare in securing a 46,300-square-foot lease at Kane Realty’s One North Hills Tower. The lease marks a significant expansion of Weatherby Healthcare’s operations in the Triangle as the leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions relocates from its current Durham office to Raleigh.
“It’s been a pleasure helping Weatherby Healthcare find the perfect location for their expansion,” said Webb. “This move not only reflects their continued growth and commitment to the region but also signals positive momentum for the office sector in Raleigh. The investment in high-paying jobs underscores the strength of the Triangle as a hub for talent and innovation.”
Weatherby Healthcare, a part of CHG Healthcare, specializes in helping medical facilities address staffing gaps and fill critical, hard-to-recruit positions. The company’s decision to expand in Raleigh was driven by the area’s robust talent pipeline, particularly its ability to attract the tech talent needed to support their growing operations.
With this move, Weatherby Healthcare plans to hire over 150 new employees between 2025 and 2029, adding to the 374 employees the company already has in North Carolina. The relocation to One North Hills Tower, a Class-A office building that overlooks the I-440 Beltline, aligns with their long-term growth strategy and further establishes Raleigh as a key location for their expanding operations.
“We’re thrilled to be making the move to Raleigh,” said Luke Woodyard, President of Weatherby Healthcare, in a joint press release from Raleigh Economic Development and Wake County Economic Development. “We look forward to providing high-paying jobs and the best in workplace culture to Wake County residents. We’re thankful for the opportunity to partner with both the city and county to make this transition a reality, and we look forward to joining this dynamic and engaging business community.”
