Dallas, Texas (May 19, 2023) – Alex Perry, SIOR, Senior Vice President for Foundry Commercial, has been recognized among Connect CRE’s 2023 Next Generation award recipients, a program that honors some of the top, young professionals within the commercial real estate industry.
Named an honoree in the state of Texas, Perry specializes in land acquisitions for industrial development, IOS/ISF site acquisitions, and buyer representation for existing facilities on behalf of institutional, regional, and local clients. He has completed over $300,000,000 in land acquisitions throughout Texas and other target markets across the country, representing over 15 million square feet of speculative and build-to-suit industrial developments.
Last year, he closed $80 million in land deals despite the year’s many challenges. Land acquisition in Texas has become extremely competitive. His specific knowledge in, and dedication to, industrial-specific land ensures that he stands out from his peers. Additionally, he earned his SIOR designation last year, invited to the organization through the rare ‘superstar exemption,’ which advances applicants who meet 200% of the gross fee income requirement and can document five or more years in the commercial real estate field.
