Orlando, Fla. (June 24, 2024) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm with offices across the Sun Belt, is proud to announce that Joey Woodman, a Vice President on the industrial brokerage team in Orlando, has been recognized by GlobeSt. among 2024’s CRE Aspiring Leaders.
This recognition celebrates top-performing commercial real estate professionals under the age of 40. As noted by the publication, “…the chosen forward-thinking individuals stand out among their counterparts through solid track records, innovative approaches, and significant contributions to their company and the industry as a whole.”
Woodman joined Foundry Commercial in 2019, and quickly earned the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike. As a Central Florida native, he possesses a deep connection to the community that has granted him a unique understanding of the area, helping him excel in his career. As evidence of this, he has consistently doubled his brokerage transactions in the last five years. In 2023 alone, he doubled his revenue growth against the previous year. This accomplishment led to Woodman being named “Overachiever of the Year” at Foundry; a prestigious internal award that recognizes his outstanding contributions to the company.
“Joey is the definition of a team player. He is always looking for ways to work with others across the Foundry platform and prioritizes finding the best-fit solutions for clients. Through his dedicated work ethic, he has become well-respected both within the company and by clients,” said Justin Ruby, Partner at Foundry, whom Woodman works alongside. “Well-known for his high level of integrity, Joey has made an impact on the industry as a leader who works hard and constantly goes above and beyond.”
Woodman’s leadership and impact extends well beyond Foundry Commercial and the broader commercial real estate industry. In multiple capacities, he is deeply involved in his community. He serves as a mentor to students at Edgewater High School and volunteers with the Camaraderie Foundation, an organization that provides support to service members and veterans. He is also an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Orlando.
