Nashville, Tenn. (March 10, 2026) – Foundry Commercial is pleased to announce that Matt Warren has joined the Mission Property Group (MPG). Based in Nashville, Warren will work with religious, educational, and nonprofit organizations as they evaluate growth opportunities, expansion strategies, and long-term real estate planning.
Warren brings deep Tennessee roots and an extensive background working with churches. He has built a strong local presence through his real estate consulting work. In his role, he will support churches and not-for-profit organizations as they navigate growth, expansion, and space planning. His addition strengthens Foundry’s ability to assist large, multi-site nondenominational churches and complements MPG’s work nationwide, including helping organizations repurpose or reposition properties during times of transition.
Born and raised in Chattanooga, Warren moved to Nashville in 2004, beginning his career as a touring guitarist before joining Cross Point Church in 2009. He served as Music Director and later Executive Director, helping lead the church’s expansion strategy. In 2022, he transitioned to full-time consulting, advising construction firms and architects on business growth.
“I’ve been on the owner/user side of the equation for most of my career, so it is exciting to transition into brokerage to partner with organizations as they face growth and change,” said Warren. “With my background, I hope to help church planters and expanding ministries align their mission and vision towards the future and find real estate that support both their ministry goals today and for decades to come.”
According to Partner Matt Messier who leads the MPG team, Warren brings a perspective that resonates strongly with the firm’s mission-driven clients.
“Matt’s creative mindset and extensive experience are exactly what we need as we continue to grow the Mission Property Group,” said Messier. “His leadership background and experience working with large, independent, and multi-site churches position him well to serve ministries as part of our team.”
“I’ve known Matt for years and have seen firsthand the impact of his leadership within the faith community,” said Nashville Market Leader Chris Neese. “He brings credibility, authenticity, and a deep understanding of ministry operations that will resonate with the churches and nonprofits Foundry serves.”
Warren lives in Franklin, Tennessee. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing as much as humanly possible, and sharing his love of music with his daughters.
