Charlotte, N.C. (July 1, 2024) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm, is pleased to announce Taylor Clayton has joined the office tenant representation team in the company’s Charlotte office. Clayton joins Foundry from Houston, Texas, where his tenacity and knack for relationship-building built a formidable tenant representation business during one of the most challenging office markets in recent memory.
While he wasn’t necessarily looking to make a move from Texas, an introduction to Foundry Managing Director and Principal, Brian Brtalik, and Senior Associate, Mike Dempsey, had Clayton considering a cross-country move to join the enthusiastic duo, who continue to grow one of the most respected tenant representation businesses in the southeast. Clayton spent the last three years working in a tenant representation role with Partners Real Estate in Houston, long considered one of the premiere full-service commercial real estate firms in Texas, specializing in office, industrial, retail, land, life science, and multifamily product types.
“Taylor is tenacious, hungry, and always puts the needs of his client first. His track record in Texas – amidst a challenging office market – speaks for itself. He knows how important it is to develop long-term relationships with clients and come to the table with solutions to their real estate challenges,” said Brian Brtalik, who manages Foundry’s Charlotte tenant representation team. “In Charlotte, demand continues to drive lots of transactions and opportunities in the market. We are elated to have Taylor joining our team in Charlotte.”
Clayton graduated from Texas A&M University, where he also ran Division 1 track. Outside of work, he continues to enjoy running, is an avid basketball fan, loves learning new languages, and discovering all Charlotte has to offer alongside his wife, Natalie.
