The Great Church Property Flip: Florida Pastors Seek Salvation In Real Estate

In a 2022 article in The Guardian, Managing Director and Leader of Foundry’s Religious, Education, and Non-Profit group Matt Messier was cited about trends in church real estate throughout Florida.

“Most of these churches are just trying to figure out a way to survive,” says Matt Messier, a Florida-based real estate broker who specializes in religious and non-profit properties. “When the property values go up, it gives them a lot more options.”
