Nashville, Tenn. (May 5, 2023) – Carrie Bobb, Senior Vice President of Retail Services for Foundry Commercial, has been recognized by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum among 2023’s top Influencers in Retail Real Estate. Bobb joined Foundry in Nashville in late 2022, and also retains her position as President of hellojenny, a commercial real estate-focused digital marketing agency that uses social media as an income-generating platform for landlords. It was recently announced Foundry acquired hellojenny.
There’s probably not another professional in the retail segment who has revolutionized the way landlords and tenants are doing business with their customers like Carrie Bobb has over the past several years. She has extensive knowledge in landlord merchandising, lease execution, digital leasing strategies, and uses her expertise to help landlords craft both a digital and physical approach to leasing space. Before launching hellojenny in 2021, she meticulously studied how retailers were driving revenue through social media, seeing an opportunity to apply the same strategy for brick-and-mortar retail landlords.
“Carrie has absolutely set a new standard for the way retail properties are marketed and brokered,” said Gregg Ickes, President of Real Estate Services for Foundry Commercial. “She has established herself and her teams as forward-thinking and ground-breaking in merchandising and driving a successful client mix.”
Since launching her real estate career in California in 2003, Bobb has completed transactions totaling more than $2 billion. She has successfully designed and executed leasing strategies, representing landlords such as Hines, Kilroy Realty, Asana Partners, IQHQ, Heitman, Regency Centers, and many others. She has also executed transactions with marquee brands including West Elm, Sephora, SoulCycle, lululemon, Blue Bottle Coffee, Cinepolis, Restoration Hardware, Shake Shack, drybar, Fox Restaurant Concepts, and several others. She is considered an expert in placemaking and understands how to create unique, memorable experiences that lead to consumer purchases. In early 2022, she and her family decided to move to Nashville, Tenn., and a new brokerage adventure began again for the tenacious professional.
In the annual publication, GlobeSt. recognizes retail real estate’s prominent professionals. “These professionals have become experts at handling lease negotiations and developing new innovations for touchless environments, while at the same time working tirelessly to ensure that retail properties serve and revitalize their surrounding communities,” the publication states. Many people have been surprised by the retail sector’s rebound post-COVID, but as shared in GlobeSt., “… bricks-and-mortar are triumphing over e-commerce as consumers flock to in-person locations, while more stores have opened than closed this year.”
