I recently stopped to reflect on the last four years at Foundry, and the quote above came to life. I joined the Nashville Industrial team as a broker with only a laptop and a notebook after having lived away for more than 15 years. When you’re a broker, this is a seemingly impossible task – you’re building your network, your knowledge, your clients, your relationships, your everything from scratch.
As I began talks with the Foundry team in Nashville, I realized this was an exceptional group of people – many of whom did the impossible – they took risks and started from scratch. And that is just what they did for me. They gave me a platform and the tools to go out and succeed.
There is a common theme within our company. Starting from scratch and taking risks is embedded within the Foundry DNA. These are people that lead by example and in turn inspired me to do the impossible. Most importantly, they invested in a young woman from Nashville with only a laptop and a notebook.
