Charlotte, N.C. (September 18, 2020)Warren Snowdon, SIOR, Managing Director and Principal with Foundry Commercial in the firm’s Charlotte office, has been recognized by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum as a 2020 ‘Influencer in Industrial Real Estate,’ a distinction that spotlights the achievements of commercial real estate professionals who have helped shape the industrial real estate market.

At Foundry, Snowdon works on a data-driven industrial brokerage team in the firm’s Charlotte office. Working everyday with global landlords and Fortune 500 tenants to create value and engage communities, Snowdon and his team focus on forward-thinking site selection and tenant representation. Additionally, Snowdon focuses on the disposition and leasing strategies of Foundry’s institutional industrial clients to rationalize supply chain networks and drive value for owners, whether through leasing, sales, build-to-suit, or investment sales for distribution and manufacturing clients.

“There is simply no one more experienced in the greater Carolinas region in build-to-suit projects and investment sales for distribution and manufacturing clients,” stated Paul Ellis, CEO of Foundry Commercial. “He provides unparalleled guidance and expertise to an array of clients, who continue to want to work with Warren for his great insights and consummate professionalism.”

A 25-year commercial real estate veteran focused solely on industrial assets, Snowdon gives back to the industry by ensuring educational opportunities for the next generation of commercial real estate professionals. In his role as the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR) Education Chairman, Snowdon spearheads a committee that provides educational opportunities for 1,000+ commercial Realtors in Charlotte and the surrounding 18-county region through innovative programs and a lecture series on pertinent, trending topics. He has been recognized among the Top 3 Industrial Brokers by CRCBR for three out of last four years, and he was named the CRCBR President’s Award recipient for 2019. With over fifteen years of CRCBR membership e has served on various boards, committees, and leadership positions at CRCBR for the past 8 years.

In the broader community, Snowdon has contributed to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) volunteering with Troop 16, and he also serves as a Property Committee member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charlotte. Additionally, he volunteers with an amazing ministry in the Charlotte area: The Urban Ministry Center’s “Room in the Inn” initiative, which partners with colleges and congregations of many faiths to open their facilities to provide shelter and food for homeless people during the winter months.

GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum launched the ‘Influencers in Industrial Real Estate’ program to recognize the efforts that continue to drive success in the industrial sector. As stated on the outlet’s website: “Of all the commercial real estate sectors, the industrial market maintains arguably the most consistent activity among investors, tenants and developers. Considering the variety of components driving this particular market, such as innovations to robotics and automation, advanced logistics and supply chain offerings, and increased e-commerce demand, the industrial sector continues to thrive as a steady, reliable investment opportunity.” The September issue of GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum features interviews with this year’s honorees.
