Charlotte, NC (September 19, 2023) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service commercial real estate company, today announced that Eliza Gordon has joined the company as Senior Vice President, relocating to Charlotte from New York City.
As Senior Vice President, Gordon joins the firm’s office agency team and will be responsible for a wide range of functions, including client advisory services, market reporting, broker outreach, lease negotiations, and financial analysis, primarily in the landlord representation space. Prior to joining Foundry, Gordon was most recently a Vice President with JLL in New York City. She spent the past 10 years with JLL honing her craft, excelling as both a landlord and tenant representative in lower Manhattan and earning a reputation for her dedication, trustworthiness, negotiation skills, and client-focused approach.
“With her extensive experience in commercial real estate and a track record of success, Eliza is poised to play a pivotal role in elevating our office agency leasing team throughout the region,” said John Ball, Foundry’s Charlotte Market Leader. “She earned her stripes in arguably the most sophisticated and competitive market in the country, if not the world, becoming well-respected for her commitment to delivering exceptional service.”
Moving to Charlotte from New York is a homecoming of sorts for the Carolinas native, who – along with her husband Daniel – wanted to move back to the southern U.S. to raise their family. She grew up in Charleston, S.C. and attended the University of South Carolina, where she double majored in business management and marketing and minored in hospitality and tourism.
“When I walked into the interviews with Foundry, I was astounded to meet a team full of smart, successful women, many of whom are working mothers and have found the work-life balance I’ve been seeking,” said Eliza, mother to two-year-old daughter Noa. “It was at that moment I knew this is exactly where I’m meant to be.”
She continued, “Charlotte’s real estate market is vibrant, and I look forward to leveraging my experience to help clients make the best real estate decisions for their businesses.”
