Nashville, Tenn. (December 9, 2024) – Foundry Commercial and Prologis recently celebrated the groundbreaking of a transformative project in Nashville with a heartfelt give-back event benefiting the local community. As part of the festivities, the team hosted a “Friendsgiving”-themed kickoff event designed not only to announce the launch of the project but also to make a tangible impact on those in need.
The event featured the purchase of 60 blankets from the Nashville Blanket Project, an organization dedicated to providing blankets to Nashvillians experiencing hardship through a buy-one-give-one model. Additionally, attendees contributed approximately 220 canned goods, which were donated to Second Harvest Food Bank to support hunger relief efforts across the region.
“This groundbreaking is not just about a building—it’s about building a stronger community,” said Casey Flannery, CCIM, a member of Foundry’s Industrial team. “Partnering with local organizations and giving back through initiatives like this reminds us that our work has a broader purpose. We’re proud to bring people together for a project that means so much to Nashville.”
The event also served to unveil West View, a 505,682-square-foot warehouse that will be the only infill bulk building in Nashville. Located just 10 minutes from downtown at 7021 Westbelt Drive, the project is owned by Prologis, a global leader in logistics real estate.
Jim Neswold, Vice President and market officer at Prologis, said: “We have been part of the Nashville community for 20 years, and supporting local organizations that make a real impact is part of our commitment to being a good community partner.”
West View will feature 80 dock doors, 185 feet of truck court, dock-high plus grade-level loading capabilities, and proximity to major transit hubs including Briley Parkway/155 and John C Tune Regional Airport. With its strategic location, the project offers unparalleled access for suppliers and transportation networks.
“We are thrilled to launch this incredible project in such a meaningful way,” added Flannery. “West View is not just an exceptional property—it’s a symbol of progress and partnership for Nashville.”
Completion of the project is slated for Q2 of 2026. For more information about leasing opportunities at West View, contact Melissa Alexander (melissa.alexander@foundrycommercial.com) or Casey Flannery (casey.flannery@foundrycommercial.com).
