Orlando, Fla. (June 7, 2023) – Rayanne Charles, Partner and Controller of Development & Investments for Foundry Commercial, has been recognized by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum among 2023’s ’50 Under 40.’

Rayanne joined Foundry in June 2016 as an Accounting Supervisor overseeing Business Unit Accounting. The next year, she was promoted to Controller for Foundry’s Development & Investments (D&I) platform. Within the past couple of years, Rayanne has been intimately involved in acquisitions of large senior living portfolios, managing onboarding, staffing, and transition teams during these major transactions. She has also closed more than $1B in development, while onboarding 24 real estate assets, 1,500 new employees, building an accounting team, overseeing an accounting software conversion, and more.
“Rayanne has a really big job, which she performs with a refreshing attitude and consistent smile. Development accounting is complicated, and Rayanne has transformed it into a weapon for our teams as they source transactions. Simultaneously, she has advanced our accounting infrastructure to support the rapid growth in transaction volume,” said Bill Simerville, Foundry Commercial Managing Director and Principal.
Rayanne is not just a leader within Foundry; she also gives back to the local community through various personal endeavors. She recently joined the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), which is the preeminent professional trade association promoting the interests of executives of color doing business across the CRE industry. She is also in the process of pursuing mentorship opportunities within the Real Estate School at her alma mater, the University of Central Florida.
