Orlando, Fla. (June 3, 2024) – Gabriel “Gabe” De Jesus, Partner at Foundry Commercial, has been recognized by the Orlando Business Journal among 2024’s “40 Under 40.” Honorees were celebrated during an awards event on May 22 at Mango’s Tropical Cafe.
Presented annually, the 40 Under 40 list recognizes young professionals who have shown exceptional leadership, innovation, and community involvement. De Jesus’ recognition on the list exemplifies his impact both inside the commercial real estate industry and beyond. Since joining Foundry, he has worked on more than 100 transactions totaling one billion dollars in total deal value.
De Jesus, based in Orlando, is one of the leaders of Foundry Commercial’s office tenant representation business. Often recognized as one of the asset classes most adversely impacted by the pandemic, De Jesus and his Orlando team have found ways creative ways to get deals done amidst the headwinds. Last year alone, the Orlando office team completed over 170 deals, totaling more than $174 million in deal volume and over 1 million square feet leased/sold.
“Over the past decade with Foundry Commercial, Gabe has become one of Central Florida’s top tenant representation brokers,” said Gregg Ickes, President of Foundry Commercial. “He achieved this through hard work, dedication to his clients, and a passion for the community.”
Outside of his work at Foundry, he is an active member in his community. For more than a decade, he has been very involved with the nonprofit United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Florida, serving on the finance committee and strategically helping with the Osceola and Winter Garden campuses. He and his wife are also passionate about Orlando-based nonprofits Samaritan Village and Grace Medical Home.
Beyond his recognition on the Orlando Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, De Jesus has also consistently been named a Costar Power Broker, a recognition only bestowed upon the best of the best commercial real estate brokers.
