–Premiere Charlotte law firm to occupy full floor in recently repositioned building–
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 10, 2017) – In conjunction with building owners Grubb Properties and New York Life, Foundry Commercial is pleased to announce that premier Charlotte law firm Hamilton Stephens Steele + Martin has completed a long-term lease agreement to occupy a full floor that spans 16,511 square feet at 525 North Tryon.
The deal marks a significant success in attracting a third-party company to relocate to 525 North Tryon in a competitive Uptown market, and is a testament to the significant amenity improvements, such as the incorporation of a fitness center and bike room, that have occurred at the building in the last several months. Recently added amenities include a modern, two-room conference area that is comprised of a boardroom and a collaborative cohabitation space, and renovations to an interior courtyard that will be completed in early June.
Perhaps the most significant new amenity is a free, six-passenger electric shuttle service called “525 Shuttle,” which transports 525 North Tryon tenants to and from uptown Charlotte.
“Both Grubb and New York Life have invested a great deal in creating top-tier amenities, like the ‘525 Shuttle,’ in order to retain and attract the caliber of tenants we now have, and we know that the reactivation is what drew Hamilton Stephens Steele + Martin to the building,” said Charles Jonas, Charlotte market leader at Foundry Commercial. “Their decision to join us truly validates the incredible features that 525 North Tryon now offers.”
In addition to these new amenities, 525 North Tryon received LEED certification in March – another mark of the building’s evolution and its owners’ commitment to best-in-class management and remaining a leading option for tenants in an increasingly popular neighborhood.
