After handling real estate in-house, Insurance Office of America felt as though they were not getting the quality results they should have.
Insurance Office of America (IOA) is the fourth largest privately held insurance brokerage in the United States. Founded in 1988, IOA is a recognized leader in providing property and casualty, employee benefits, and personal lines insurance and risk management solutions as well as insurtech innovation. Headquartered in Longwood, Florida, IOA has more than 1,400 associates in over 60 locations in the USA and United Kingdom.
IOA handled real estate in house, felt as though they were not getting the attention and quality transaction results they should have. This was partially due to a lack of data in addition to some of their employees feeling like they were working “double duty” on real estate, knowing their time and talents could be better utilized in their primary roles.
Foundry stepped in during the second quarter of 2020. During this time, Foundry helped IOA navigate the Covid-19 pandemic by rightsizing their portfolio and aiding into the deployment of hybrid work. Foundry provides lease administration and prepares their monthly rent roll. One of the most valuable attributes of our team to IOA is the ability to handle the constant change in their portfolio which was draining their employees time with things like changing of billing entities, CAM reconciliations, billing issues, estoppels, and assignments.
