Dallas, Tex. (January 10, 2024) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm with offices across the Sun Belt, continues its growth trajectory in Dallas with the addition of a new broker to the office’s current land team. This team is anchored by Senior Vice President Alex Perry, SIOR and Senior Vice President Marty Neilon. Foundry Commercial has added Zach Hartzer to the group to further enhance and broaden the firm’s ability to serve clients throughout the Texas markets.
“With a combined experience of 35 years, this team has transacted well over $1 billion in land value and expect the addition of Zach Hartzer will add even more depth of service to clients,” said Steve Bassett, Texas Market Leader for Foundry Commercial.
Hartzer brings both brokerage and underwriting experience to his role as Associate, having worked for both Greystone and Marcus & Millichap in the Dallas region before joining Foundry. The addition of Hartzer comes on the heels of a busy year for the Foundry Dallas land team. This Fall, the Foundry land team represented real estate investment firm GTIS Partners in the purchase of one of the last remaining developable parcels in the DFW Airport submarket. GTIS plans to develop a 272,000-square-foot warehouse at the 16.8-acre site. Additionally, the team won the listing for a 36.29-acre industrial development site in northwest Dallas owned by Provident Realty. They also secured the listing for Parkwood Landing, a destination infill commercial development site near the junction of Frisco and Plano – two of the most successful and high-growth submarkets in Texas.
“We are thrilled to welcome Zach to the team. His exceptional people skills, relentless work ethic, and can-do attitude bring a great energy to our group as we kickstart 2024. His expertise in underwriting, research, and client service will undoubtedly enhance our team dynamic and contribute to our continued success,” said Perry.
Marty Neilon joined Foundry as Senior Vice President last year, widely known as one of the best promoters of land sites and one of the best overall land brokers in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Primarily focused on the seller side of transactions, Neilon’s expertise perfectly complements that of Alex Perry, who has been strongly focused on the buyer’s side.
“We’re committed to high-quality and thorough land execution for our clients. Our expanded team performs equally well in both owner and buyer assignments. We believe knowledge, integrity, and effort make a real difference,” stated Neilon.
