Orlando, Fla. (Sept. 6, 2022) – Foundry Commercial, a full-service real estate services and investment firm with offices across the Sun Belt, today announced that Lawson Dann, a 30-year commercial real estate industry veteran, has joined the platform as Senior Vice President based in the firm’s Orlando office.
Lawson specializes in capital markets and land advisory functions. Throughout his time in the industry, he has completed numerous sale and lease transactions valued at over $800 million, representing such esteemed clients as SunTrust Bank, PNC Bank, Newsome Melton, Regions Bank, Westdale Capital, and CNS Healthcare. A fourth-generation Central Florida native, Lawson has carved a niche in working with family office companies on land pursuits and investment sale opportunities.
“Lawson has deep roots in Central Florida and has become one of the most respected brokers in the area for his track record successfully guiding local, national, and multi-national clients,” said Alex Rosario, Foundry’s North Florida Market Leader. “We’re thrilled that he is joining Foundry to expand our capital markets and land advisory functions for clients along the I-4 corridor.”
Lawson has been recognized for his accomplishments by receiving CFCAR’s Top Industrial Producer, NAIOP’s Investment Broker of the Year award, and Real Estate Deal of the Year award by the Orlando Business Journal. He is a graduate of the University of Mississippi, and is involved in the Orlando Economic Partnership, NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association). He resides in College Park.
His hire comes on the heels of several additional wins within Foundry’s Capital Markets and Land Services platform. Within the past year, Foundry Commercial also brought on Sarah Godwin, one of the Carolinas’ most trusted institutional land investment advisory and sales professionals, as Senior Vice President of Land Services. The firm has also established a Debt & Structured Finance platform with the strategic hire of Vice President J.C. Tacot who – along with Market Leader David Kern – advises third-party clients in the evaluation, underwriting, and execution of commercial real estate debt and equity across all real estate asset classes.
