CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 13, 2017) – Morrison Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Sharon Road and Colony Road in SouthPark, has added four new tenants, Anne Neilson Fine Art Gallery, Mud + AIR, Sabor Latin Street Grill and Yafo Kitchen, to its increasingly eclectic roster of occupants. Foundry Commercial is assisting the shopping center owners with attracting more unique tenants to the center, as well as planning for asset improvements that will enhance customer experience.
“Our goal for Morrison Shopping Center has always been to bring an eclectic mix of dining, retail and experiential options to SouthPark,” said Drew Sadowski, a representative of the ownership group. “It’s exciting to see the energy these new tenants have brought to the center, and we look forward to further growth.”
Foundry is also working with the owners to bring additional amenities and enhancements to the center, including lunchtime valet parking and expanded outdoor seating, to continue to attract quality tenants.
“The SouthPark market has enjoyed a significant rejuvenation in recent years, and it is quickly becoming the center of activity in Charlotte,” said Susan McGuire, principal and managing director at Foundry Commercial. “The great thing about the growth at Morrison is that it provides residents and workers in this growing market a chance to experience some of the fantastic products that local vendors have to offer, while still providing access to national retail brands. We are excited to continue working with the asset owners to improve its current offerings and to scout for even more exceptional tenants.”
Additional developments near the center include residential expansions, with a new 360-unit multifamily project, Aspire SouthPark, slated to open in early 2018, and more apartment buildings expected to open along Sharon Road.
