Boca Raton, Fla. (April 22, 2024) – Foundry Commercial is pleased to announce Zach Strunk has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Senior Living. Strunk, who has worked with Foundry since 2022, has more than a decade of experience overseeing, leading, and directing successful operations within both skilled nursing and assisted living and memory care communities.
In his expanded role, Strunk is now responsible for operations at Foundry’s Spring Arbor Senior Living portfolio, with 40 senior living communities that encompass more than 2,700 units across the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, and Midwest. Having entered the senior living space in 2020, Foundry’s platform has been purposefully developed to capitalize on the recent consolidation of operational platforms and shifting demographics within the senior living sector.
“Zach has a long and deep history in the sector, bringing a wealth of knowledge and over a decade of experience to our platform. He will oversee our growing portfolio of forty managed assets across ten states and the integration of new talent and relationships as we expand our capital relationships and geographical presence. Having recently been named Partner at Foundry, Zach’s vision and leadership will position us for much success in the years ahead. We are excited for Zach as he assumes this new and expanded leadership role for Foundry,” said Kevin Maddron, President of Foundry’s Healthcare platform.
“I am thrilled beyond words to work with the Spring Arbor Senior Living team. The opportunity to contribute to such a compassionate and dedicated group is both exciting and rewarding. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Spring Arbor Family, where I look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families,” said Strunk. “We see opportunities to effectively drive results through our management platforms by focusing on the resident and team member experience. Operational successes over the past four years have enabled us to expand our partnerships with investors and extend our presence further throughout the country,” he added.
Strunk is a graduate of Central Michigan University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in 2009. He achieved the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Bronze Award and was also the recipient of the Consulate Health Care Employee Engagement Award in 2014, an esteemed designation amongst all executive directors within the company nationwide.
