Overview
Blake’s range of experience in the real estate industry over the last 20 years includes investment sales and leasing, development, finance, construction and engineering.
Blake serves as a Senior Vice President for the Investment Advisory Group in Raleigh, NC, specializing in the acquisition and disposition of investment and development properties, representing a variety of clients from high-net-worth investors and family offices to private equity funds and institutions. His focus includes office, industrial, medical office, and retail properties, with extensive experience in sale/leaseback and 1031 transactions.
Prior to joining Foundry Commercial, Blake worked in the Capital Markets Group at Avison Young, where he completed over $400m of investment sales transactions. Prior to Avison Young, he was with JLL in their Los Angeles office, representing nearly 4 million square feet of office, adaptive reuse, urban infill development and entertainment projects for a variety of institutional and private clients. Blake began his career at CH2M Hill (now Jacobs Engineering Group), managing a $250M vertical infrastructure development program for a local municipality, from site acquisition through start-up operations.
Outside of the office, Blake enjoys spending time with his wife Jennifer and their three young children in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
